Janar Talts (born April 7, 1983 in Tallinn) is an Estonian professional basketball player.

Talts' professional career started in 2001, when he signed with KML team TTÜ-A.Le Coq. The following season he signed with the reigning Estonian champion Tallinna Kalev and won the national title in 2003. In 2004 Talts signed with Bundesliga team RheinEnergie Köln. He won two German Cups and one Bundesliga title. In the 2006–2007 season Talts played in Euroleague for the German squad. After three seasons in Germany he signed with the reigning Estonian champions Tartu Ülikool/Rock and won his second Estonian title as well as the money prize for the Best Defensive Player in the finals. Talts stayed with Rock for two more seasons and was one of the key players in winning the national league once more in 2009–10 season. In December 2010 he signed with BC Krasnye Krylya Samara of Russian Professional Basketball League. In March 2011 he signed with Cimberio Varese in Italy.[1] Talts is a member of the Estonia national basketball team.
